I'm a design engineer with a strong focus on human-centered design and front-end applications. I think of solutions to challenge problems with thoughtful interactions on the web. I recently graduated from my undergraduate degree in Cognitive Science, Human-Computer Interaction, and Technology Ethics at Barnard College of Columbia University.

Growing up as a first-generation kid raised by a single immigrant mother, I've always been driven by curiosity, innovation, and the pursuit of opportunities for marginalized groups. On campus, I was involved in mentoring first-generation low-income first-year students, designing a web development curriculum and contribute to the cycle of creating more opportunities in the tech industry for underrepresented communities.

I was first exposed to coding through Tumblr blogs, designing websites in HTML/CSS and adding snowflakes, sparkly cursors, and music players to my blog. I try to emulate and pay homage to my ten year old self and her long lived passion for crafting interfaces and personal computing now a decade later.
